Ruby May Staine was born in Honduras and came to Los Angeles with her family. After gaining her High School Diploma she went on to nursing. Ruby May was a Philanthropist at heart and knew her purpose was to help those less fortunate than herself. After joining a elite women's club she dedicated herself to the groups various charities as well as her own favorite causes. She provided food to the hungry and started to make quilts and pillows for the residents of local homeless shelters. Ruby May passed away in 1996, but her work continues through this foundation, started by her children and grandchildren.
